Ankawa at night

After a long day of lesson planning we walked from the seminary to town. The temperature was pleasant and many people were out on the streets enjoying themselves.

We stopped at Sahara Market for a laundry soap and other necessities before going out for ice-cream.

The ice-cream parlor is very modern and clean.
There were about a dozen flavours of Turkish ice-cream to choose from.
 I had pistachio and lemon.

Things got really fancy upstairs where they brought us long stemmed glasses for our water and those shovel shaped spoons. A nice treat after working hard all day.
